Council is expected to move into Closed Session as permitted to do so pursuant to the following sections of the Municipal Act, 2001, S.O. 2001, c. 25. as amended:

• s. 239(2)(b) to discuss personal matters about an identifiable individual, including municipal or local board employees;
• s. 239(2)(d) to discuss labour relations or employee negotiations; and
• s. 239(2)(j) to discuss a trade secret or scientific, technical, commercial or financial information that belongs to the municipality or local board and has monetary value or potential monetary value.
