Council is expected to move into Closed Session as permitted to do so pursuant to the following sections of the Municipal Act, 2001, S.O. 2001, c. 25. as amended: to 239(2)(a)(b)(f) & (i)
s. 239(2)(a) to discuss the security of the property of the municipality or local board;
s. 239(2)(b) to discuss personal matters about an identifiable individual, including municipal or local board employees;
s. 239(2)(f) to receive advice that is subject to solicitor-client privilege, including communications necessary for that purpose;
s. 239(2)(i) to discuss a trade secret or scientific, technical, commercial, financial or labour relations information, supplied in confidence to the municipality or local board, which, if disclosed, could reasonably be expected to prejudice significantly the competitive position or interfere significantly with the contractual or other negotiations of a person, group of persons, or organizations.
